　The serial holidays from the end of April to the beginning of May: we Japanese call it Golden week holidays. It is divided into two blocks this year. The first half is from yesterday, the 27^th , to tomorrow, the 29^th of Apr. The other half is from Fri. May 3, to Mon. May 6. If there are office workers who can rest for all the Golden week holidays, it will be 10 consecutive holidays. As I am now retired, I can ‘t enjoy 10 days of big Golden week holidays but every day is a Holiday. .

　On Sunday, Apr.28,in the the early morning, I saw a large passenger ship come into Kobe Port when I viewed Kobe Harbor from the veranda of my house. Immediately I grabbed my camera and took some pictures and I went out to take a photo of the ship at Port Terminal of Kobe in the afternoon. It was a huge tourist boat. The ship had entered the port of Kobe with many tourists from Shanghai. When I reached the ship, passengers had gone somewhere already, but in reverse, I came to visit this big ship because I enjoy local places unlike these foreigners who had come from far. This beautiful ship’s name is “Celebrity Millennium ( Miami )”

　On the way home, I went to see ‘Infiorata Kobe 2013’ taking place in Sannnomiya Ajisai Hiroba square. It was beautiful pictures created with tulip petals on the road. There were 120,000 tulips in 10 different huge pictures measuring 3.5m wide and 7m long.

　I am looking forward to the second half of the holiday to go see and enjoy local places, ‘chikaba’ in Japanese, the exihibition of “ Museum of Fine Arts, Boston” at Osaka City Museum.
