                                         Koi-nobori , Carp Streamer                    4/29/2014 

　Boys' Day of May 5th of the lunar calendar, in the hope of health and success of boys, on the day of rain during the rainy season, to draw the picture of carp such as paper or cloth, with banners that make a conquest by causing conceived in the wind. Koinobori, carp streamer or banner is in the decoration of the festival of Children's Day installed on the pole of each house garden.

　Also, 'Koinobori' festival began from Edo-period among samurai, but today koi-nobori, carp streamer, that trail in the blue sky of sunny day in late spring, boys parents decorates it on May 5th ( Children's Day, National Holiday ) of the solar calendar.

               　　　　　　　     Ayu fishing has been lifted (Hyogo, Kato)

　On May 1, ayu has been lifted in Toryu-nada,Kato in the lead of the national scenic area of Kakogawa flowing through Hyogo Pref.. In the Edo era, first fruits presented to Himeji - han lord, it is a relic that fishing is allowed soon. On this day, Kakogawa fishery cooperatives, was released about 200 kilometers juvenile ayu in Lake Biwa production of around 10cm length. Bite was not good enough, but about 15 people were enjoying fly-fishing for the first time this season though the water temperature is as low as 15 degrees. It was also lifted in Hidaka and Wakayama River in Wakayama. (Asahi Shimbun)

　　　　　　　献上するため、漁が早く許可された名残とされる。この日は、加古川漁業協同

　　　　　　　組合が、体長10㌢前後の琵琶湖産の稚アユ約200キロを放流した。水温が15度と

　　　　　　　低く食いつきはいま一つだったが約15人が今季初の毛針釣りを楽しんでいた。

　　　　　　　和歌山県有田川と日高川でも解禁された。（朝日新聞）
