　人は人とつながり、地域とつながり、社会とつながって生きています。つながっているということは素晴らしいことです。しかしこのようなつながりは、砂のようにもろく、不完全です。いつ、何が勃発するかわからない不安さが常にあります。創造主とつながって生きていることは、私たちに安定をもたらします。どんな心騒ぐことが起きても、主は完全なお方ですから、波打った湖面がやがて鏡のように静まるように私たちの心も整えてくださいます。一時的に流され、崩されることがあっても、主が建て直してくださいます。「わたしにつながっていなさい。わたしもあなたがたにつながっている。ぶどうの枝が木につながっていなければ、自分では実を結ぶことができないように、あなたがたもつながっていなければ、実を結ぶことができない。わたしはぶどうの木、あなたがたはその枝である。」

　Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide  in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing.
